"Little Duck"-Primrose Everdeen

I go to watch the hunger games at midnight on thursday and let me tell you, that movie was AHMAZING! for all of you who did read the book probably caught a couple things missing...some details described in the book didnt really make it in to the movie, regardless the movie was fabulous! :) and what made it even more fabulous was just being at the movie with the die-hard fans! I also took note of the really awesome outfits in the movie ;) here is my Primrose inspired outfit! very subtle colors kinda like the whole district of 12 during the reaping, really toned down and washed out colors. This Prim inspired outfit is definitely perfect for spring and can definitely be used to summer! haha smart huh?! ;) double duty dress perfect for spring AND summer!

"Katniss the girl who was on fire!"

"Katniss the girl who was on fire" today is the day, midnight premiere is tonight for those of you who don't know! :) I'm going and I am so EXCITED! haha what better way to celebrate the day it comes out with a Katniss inspired outfit! Cinna the most fabulous stylist who made Katniss shine like a star in her fire inspired gown, OOOH putting this outfit together really put me in the mood for the movie for the most part its not TOO pricey, but then again this is Katniss's most extravagant outfit in the book and can also be worn as a prom outfit! ! It's a super affordable PROM inspired Katniss outfit!!

The premiere is getting closer and closer! Here is my second outfit in my hunger games inspired outfits! Oh Effie, so bubbly ladylike and a little ditzy haha her classy persona in the book mixed with the capital clothing gives Effie such a interesting mash up of concepts of bright and classy. Again, I did not keep budget in mind with creating this outfit, but come on its Effie! Probably one of the more fabulous characters in the book, she wouldnt have a budget herself! ;) Also, if you haven't read the book yet, PICK IT UP! Smarties, I know you guys will love it!

HAPPY HUNGER GAMES!

Happy Hunger Games smarties! I am BEYOND excited for the premiere of the Hunger Games this friday! I just finished the first book and I am hooked! If you haven't read it yet, I HIGHLY suggest you pick it up. So my beautiful smarties, what better way to celebrate the week the movie is coming out with an outfit ;) haha I must confess price of each piece was not in my head as I was assembling this outfit, BUT hey you can't stifle inspiration can you? Katniss's outfit was inspired not only by the movie but what I imagined her wearing in the book, plus I made sure the pieces were actually something we can wear! :) I will probably post up more Hunger Games inspired outfits through out the week! Spring Fling Outfit #2 !

Hola smarties! Let's head to the beach and soak up some sun! The weather is feeling warmer and my urge to go to the beach is stronger than ever! I chose a SUPER fun and BRIGHT outfit that you can definitely wear with ease going to the park or just getting some sun in :) My splurge item for the outfit is the white corset cami from Aerie, it is $34.50..Before you start deciding its out of budget, think how versatile this piece is, a white cami goes with everything! with jeans or black jegging, this top can easily get some good use in your wardrobe and will eventually pay itself off with the amount of  use you are going to get! smart huh? ;) Paired with some bright pink shorts, gold bangles and a lovely blue polish, you are ready for some spring sunshine!

Spring Fling Outfit #1 !

Hello my beautiful smart girls, this outfit is my first 'Spring Fling' outfits, it will be a series and I will try to post up a spring inspired outfit each week! The key pieces to these outfits is that there is one key splurge item out of each outfit and the rest of the outfit should be relatively on the affordable side :) why splurge on one key item? Well if you are planning on spending a lot of money on one thing, it better be something that you can wear multiple times and not be a one outfit kind of item. Here I chose beaded sandals from aldo, they are $50, but if you are planning on wearing them all spring, you have a smart buy! Instead of changing up your sandals all spring,  stick to the ones that you spent the money on and can get use out of them. Here is a quick outfit with the latest spring trends, florals, brights, and a touch of twinkle toe sandals! The weather is getting warm, the flowers are starting to bloom aaaaaah, spring is coming! Are you ready?! I am so pumped for spring and I cannot wait to be wearing this outfit!

Spring is here and its calling for glitter! What better way to ring in the spring season with some glitter tips on your nails?  Listen here smart girls, the oh-so subtle OPI sweetheart (pale pink) all of the nail is the perfect color for spring as well as a touch of glitter from Milani's disco lights (salmon pink glitter) on top! Tea Cup Jewelry Storage!

Want a cute jewelry storage system? Well look no further then your mom's china cabinet! (obviously ask permission first please!) Tea cups and dishes are perfect for displaying and catching all your miscellaneous jewelry and collecting it in a convenient place, smart huh? ;) You can place small hair pins and necklaces on the dish as well as hide away rings in the cup itself! It is the perfect way to organize your tangled necklaces on your dresser! Not to mention it is way cuter than leaving your necklaces laying all over the place <3 Hope you find this helpful! enjoy! :) <3

I got this tea cup and dish set at a local discount store for $5-$10, not that bad for such a cute set! :)
